back to school...

first day back in the design department after the holidays and back to reality with a new brief!

i picked up three books from the oxfam bookshop today...

i deliberately chose subjects i had no interest in so that it wouldn't be so difficult to deface them! i also wanted them to be fairly old...

'the political works of longfellow' 1912

'studies in literature' 1934

'howards end' 1960
(i feel i should read this, maybe i'll just fold it a bit)

summer dreams...

i've just discovered this fabulous cooking show on bbc2 one man and his campervan by writer and surfer martin dorey

now, i'm not a happy camper by any means but how lovely to be reminded of blue, summery skies and eating al fresco by the seaside on such a chilly day in january!

i love the idea of cooking potatoes in salt water straight from the sea (why have i never thought of that?!) but on a stormy day like today i don't fancy dipping a bucket into the loch... might wait til june!
